Pulling the Lever

November 7th, 2006 · No Comments

Today I election day.  Since I live in California, my vote really doesn’t count for shit.  But here’s a quick overview on how I’m going to vote.

Gov: Schwarzenegger (R)
Lt. Gov:  Tom McClintock (R)

(Republicans?  Yes, because they’re the antithesis of the corrupt Bush-era scumbags in Washington.  These are Republicans I can live with.  Arnie is practically a Democrat anyway.) Virtually everyone else I vote for will be the Libertarian candidate.

I’ll be voting no on all ballot propositions except 1A {transportation funding protection), 85 (parental notification), and 90 (anti-Kelo).

I’m also planning on voting for the Turd Sandwich.

Update: Jeff51 reminds me of Strickland and Poizner.  I wasn’t planning on voting for Strickland, but I had forgotten about Poizner.  I’ll vote for him.  As far as Strickland goes, I checked his website and he looks okay.  See, that’s the problem with California Republicans.  They’re usually so goddamn reasonable.  As much as I wanted to avoid voting for any Republicans this time around I might end up doing so.
