Poor Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY). She's so afraid of appearing soft on national security and social issues that she's managed to morph into George Bush with breasts and a vagina. From her pro-Iraq war position, to her antigay marriage stance, and her pathetic position in favor of a flag burning amendment. The freshman senator from New York has become a caricature of her one time promising self.
And she's paying the price. Sen. Hillary Clinton is learning the hardway that there are consequences for your actions. Case in point, Forbes is reporting Clinton was booed during a recent appearance before the liberal group "Take Back America." In other times, this audience would be her base and greet her enthusiastically. No more. Now for every supporter, there's she's met by a detractor.
This is not the first time Sen. Clinton was booed (and I expect it won't be the last) by Democrats furious at her for saddling up to President Bush and other social and religious conservatives. As much as she tries to find the perfect pitch during an election year, and in the midst of a hugely unpopular war, Sen. Hillary Clinton continues to fall flat.
