More on Russ and Civil Liberties

December 18th, 2005 · No Comments

I am sure it is quite clear that I am big fan of Russ Feingold. Although he has not said he is running in 2008 I emphatically throw my support behind him now and hope that as others in the blogosphere start to cast their eyes toward the presidential contest we can do for Feingold what was done for Dean (except for the losing part), take a relatively obscure candidate and propel him, based on his own strengths, into a viability.

To do my part I intend to use my humble blog as a constant source of, among other things, all things Russ. I hope to keep up on all the news and great work Russ does. I just want to do my part (I have a friend who works in the Senator’s Wisconsin office and have told him to instruct the campaign side of things that I will move to New Hampshire if they need me to help!). So to start I want to point everyone to Russ’s PAC, the Progressive Patriot Fund. The site is great and has a lot of helpful information about Russ and the ways he is trying to help progressive all over the country.

That said I also wanted to direct everyone’s attention to Feingold’s response to the President’s recent admission that he hates the Constitution (hat tip to TalkLeft).
